December 1818, Scottish Highlands
Susanna Hunter once ignored Captain Fergus Lamont’s warnings not marry a fortune hunter –a decision she lived to regret. This is a fun seasonal story set in my native Argyll, where a rugged Highland hero meets a very independent Regency heroine. There’s lots of Scottish Hogmanay traditiions, some real and some straight out of my own head, a fairytale castle picked in a vote by my Facebook friends, and as you’d expect, some hot goings-on in the cold snow.
